Frank Egil Holm

Frank Egil Holm is a political scientist (cand.polit.), and has covered a range of topics at the Centre for Rural Research. These topics include the delegation of authority within the Norwegian agricultural-administrative structure, and good governance and rural development through regional partnerships. He has also studied the use of agri-environmental schemes and the increase in joint farming enterprises. Holm is currently working on an evaluation of a strategy for small-community development through the Ministry of Local Government and Regional Development (KRD); studies of the division of responsibilities between the three levels in the Norwegian political-administrative system; and a project examining local cultural life in Norway.
