The research in Phase 1 was carried out at feeding stations during the winter of 2020 and 2021, where we tested the game&#8217;s reactions to various sound signals as well as the reactions to sound in combination with light. The purpose was to find out which sounds have the greatest effect on cervidae, and thus will be most appropriate to use to scare the animals in a desired direction, ie out of the railway tracks. Now in phase 2 we will test the use of different sounds along the railway tracks and on the trains.
