Webinar: Rethinking circularity in bioeconomy #4

19. March kl. 10:00 - 11:30
Zoom

Where to go with the circular economy? – Insights from four scenario workshops with stakeholders in the Nordic-Baltic region

In the final webinar of the CIRCLE webinar series “Rethinking circularity in bioeconomy”, we will focus on the scenario workshop method – a compelling tool for envisioning the future of the circular economy. We will introduce the STEEP (Social, Technological, Economic, Environmental, Policy) factors approach, which allowed us to explore various aspects related to circular practices in the bioeconomy. With insights gained from the backcasting method,
we will project ahead to the desirable circular bioeconomy visions of 2030. Join us as we draw practical insights from experiences across four Nordic-Baltic countries, shedding light on the path toward a more sustainable and circular future.

Speakers: Talis Tisenkopfs (Baltic Studies Centre) will shortly introduce to the project and its interdisciplinary approach; Emils Kilis (Baltic Studies Centre) will explain the scenario workshop method and STEEP approach; Talis Tisenkopfs (Baltic Studies Centre), Kristiina Kerge (Estonian University of Life Sciences), Ieva Sakelaite (Vilnius University) and Marita Uglem Remøy (Ruralis) will share main findings of future visioning workshops for circular bioeconomy in Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania and Norway.
