Marita Uglem Remøy

Marita Uglem Remøy has an educational background from the Master’s Degree Program in Social Science with Teacher Education at NTNU. In her master thesis she investigated urban-rural-migration by collecting migrants life stories and analyzed the qualitative material in a narrative framework. Marita made use of the Bordieuan theory of practice to explain the migrant’s inclination to move to a rural area, and their adaptation to the village’s social life. In her work as a research assistant, Marita assists projects related to animal welfare, climate, social sustainability, and circular economy.
