A-8/94 Men, women and biotechnology_ A feminist _care_ ethic in agricultural science
In this article we are concerned with the relationship between technology and gender in the field of agriculture science. We ask whether men and women differ in their attitudes toward biotechnology as it is being applied in the production of food. In so doing we examine the attitudes of three groups, consumers, farmers and scientists, with different positions in the agro-food chain and thus with different perspectives and relations to this technology.
