The report provides a picture of the labour situation of farm women in diversified rural areas in Norway. It analyses the factors (opportunities and constraints)that influence their participation in the labour market. the key factors have been assumed to be 1) individual characteristics of farm women, 2) farm household structures, 39 farm structures, 49 external structures like labour market diversification, rural context, infrastructure and 59 labour orientation. the report identifies farm women’s labour orientation, motivation for farm and off-farm work as well as their work aspirations and needs to achieve them.
