Expansion strategies for Local Food Enterprises – Vekststrategier for lokale matprodusenter
The overall objective of this project is to contribute to increased value added in local and regional food enterprises through obtaining new knowledge about the conditions for expansion, and how the industries can solve challenges they face in different phases of expansion. Sub-goals: 1. Conduct an analysis to explore growth ambitions among niche food enterprises 2. Conduct an analysis of requirements that apply to enterprises in phases of expansion in terms of production, product development, certification processes, marketing, distribution and sale 3. Examine what kind of demands and/or possibilities that occur in relation to networking, cooperation, knowledge and learning processes, both along the value chain, between producers and other actors during growth processes 4. Propose strategies for maintaining distinctiveness and specific qualities in production and products in an expanding enterprise 5. Propose different growth strategies and conditions for success 6. Propose more effective strategies for supporting local food enterprises with growth ambitions
