Erika Palmer has a PhD in Systems Engineering and Social Policy at the University of Bergen at the Institute of Comparative Politics. She holds a BA in Psychology from the University of Maryland, an MSc in Biological Anthropology from University College London and an MSc in Industrial Ecology from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. Her PhD project is a system dynamics evaluation of the Norwegian welfare state in light of changing demography. Originally from the United States, Erika has been residing off and on in Norway since 2006.
