Lillian Hansen is working as a PhD Candidate and Researcher III at RURALIS on the project “Biosmart – Managing the transition to a smart bioeconomy”, funded by the Research Council of Norway.
Previously university lecturer/amanuensis at the Department of Sociology and Political Science, and advisor at The Norwegian Patient Register, The Directorate of Health.
Thematically Lillian is interested in the development of a bioeconomy in Norway that includes a broad specter of actors, the resources they inhabit, and how this gives the different actors the power for sustainable change.
Methodically she has experience from interviews, case studies, surveys and statistical analyses. Right now Lillian is preparing different types of foresight exercises together with several of her colleagues.
