Roger Andre Søraa (contract completed December 2021)

Researcher - PhD in Studies of Technology and Society

Roger A. Søraa is part-time employed in assistance at Ruralis and works on the the project SmaT – Smart technology for sustainable agriculture.

Søraa is a Assistand Professor at the Department of Interdisciplinary Studies of Culture (KULT) at NTNU, with a PhD and a Master in Studies of Technology and Society, and a Bachelor in Informatics.

He currently works as project leader for the My Robot Friend project, research coordinator for SHAPE ENERGY and as a researcher for the DRIVERS, eWare – Early Warning Accompanies Robotics Excellence and SmaT – Smart technology for sustainable agriculture projects. He is also the Editor in chief of the Nordic Journal of Science and Technology Studies (NJSTS).
