Jostein Brobakk has a PhD in political science from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). He was a research fellow on the project “Back to the future? Agricultural policy response to rising food prices and climate change”, on how agriculture at different levels is affected by climate change and climate policy. Brobakk has a background in studies and work in international politics (IP) with particular emphasis on the agri-food and climate policy nexus. He currently works with sustainability in food and agriculture and the circular economy, and has broad experience and expertise in the field of regional and rural policy and politics.
