This project aims to provide knowledge that is essential to the efforts of strengthening rural communities.

This is obtained by generating knowledge on how local as well as national resources may or should be managed to get the best development possible at smaller places. Hence, the knowledge will be directly relevant to community- and place development. The project follows up Ruralis’ own, frequently accomplished survey: The local community survey 2011;2013; 2016. Just like agriculture is important to many rural communities, vigorous local communities function as an important condition for a still viable agriculture in the entire country.
